flat round magnets
Neodymiumpermanent magnets (Nd-Fe-B) are dark gray alloy . They are composed ofNeodymium, Iron , Boron and a few transition metals. Density of Neodymiummagnets is .27Lb/in3 (7.5g/cm3).
Neodymium magnets are manufactured in a metallurgyprocess through alloying, crushing, powdering, pressing w/magnetic orientation, sintering, then cutting, coating, inspecting andpacking beforeshipment.
1. Attributes
1) Very highresistance to demagnetization
2) High energyfor size
3) Good inambient temperature
4) Material is corrosive and should becoated for long term maximum energy output
6) Low workingtemperature for heat applications, but higher levels of heat resistancematerials are being introducedperiodically.
2.Applications
Magneticseparators, linear actuators, microphone assemblies, servo motors,DCmotors (automotive starters),computer rigiddisc drives, printers and speakers
3.Coating/Plating
Nd-Fe-B magnets are moreprone to oxidation than any other magnet alloys. If Nd-Fe-B magnet is to beexposed to humidity, chemically aggressive media such as acids, alkalinesolutions salts and harmful gases, coating is recommended. It is not recommendedin a hydrogen atmosphere.
Ni and
Znic are the most common ones, besides, there are Ni-Cu, Ni-Cu-Ni, Double Ni, Color Znic, Bright Znic, BlackZnic, Cr3+Znic, Black Epoxy, Grey
Epoxy, Bright Chrome, Phosphating, Gold,Silverand so on.

1) General magnetic properties
2) Nominal dimension
3) Direction of orientation
4) State of Orientation(need to be magnetized ornot)
